Right of withdrawal

We accept returns in accordance with EU consumer protection law. If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, take possession of the goods. If you ordered several items that are delivered separately, the period starts on the day you receive the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us with a clear statement (for example, an email or a letter by post) of your decision to withdraw:

You can use the model withdrawal form below, but you don't have to. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is enough to send your notice of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Sealed food products

Due to hygiene and food safety reasons, there is no right of withdrawal for sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal has been broken after delivery (§ 312g (2) no. 3 BGB). This applies to our matcha tins and pouches, tea powders and teas: once the seal has been broken after delivery, the right of withdrawal lapses. Unopened products in their original, sealed packaging can be returned.

Returning the goods

Please send the goods back to the address above without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you tell us that you are withdrawing. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14 days have expired.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods (return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer), unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Refunds

If you withdraw, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including the original delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your notice of withdrawal. We do not refund the extra costs if you chose a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery we offer.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no event will you be charged any fees for this refund.

Your statutory warranty rights for faulty or incorrect items are not affected.
